    The deeply moisturising and nourishing Yara Body Food and Iyali Body Food are also perfect as gentle massage oils.

    RECIPE
    - Using an essential-oil burner, put a tiny bowl on top to warm.
    - Next, put a teaspoon of Yara Body Food or Iyali Body Food into the bowl and leave it to gently melt.
    - Add a few drops of an essential oil to the warming bowl
    - The coconut oil and shea butter in the Body Food mix beautifully with essential oils. We added bergamot oil, chosen for it’s calming aroma and purifying skin benefits. You can of course blend essential oils to suit you.
    - The burner keeps the oils at a constant temperature, warm but not hot. When the Body Food is melted and warm, it is ready to apply in a massage.

    The warm oil will glide easily across the skin and absorbs quickly, giving comfort to aching muscles, stimulating circulation and relaxing the mind. After the massage, the skin will feel soft, deeply nourished and calmed. If you shower after your massage, your skin will remain moisturised, supple and protected.

    Natural DIY Face Mask - Dry Skin

    One of our favourite natural DIY face masks is particular good for dry skin.

    All you'll need is:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1-2 tbsp of IYA Women's Body Food

  • Peel the cucumber, scoop out the avocado and place both in a blender. Add the IYA Women's Body Food and blitz slightly until it turns a spreadable consistency. Apply to clean, dry skin and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water and admire your beautifully nourished skin!
